It’s easy to reduce or eliminate packaging and food waste, save money and try new things when you buy in bulk at the Riverwest Co-op. The Co-op has coffee, snacks, grains, beans and lentils, nuts and seeds, spices, baking supplies and much more available in its bulk bins. A favorite amazing deal is on refills of Dr. Bronner’s liquid soap. And, every Thursday, all bulk items are 10% off!
How does it work?
It is easy to fill a clean container of your own or one of our provided bags with exactly the amount of a product you need, write down the bin number of the item and pay by weight.
Note: If bringing your own containers, one of our staff or volunteers will weigh and label it at the start of your shopping trip so you just pay for the product you put in it.
We also have a variety of prepackaged bulk items available, including favorites like Delish Fish, a natural version of your favorite red fish-shaped gummy candy, dried mangoes,Chunks of Energy- energy bar/snack cubes, raisins, dried cranberries and more (selection varies).
Bulk is great whether you want to save money on staples, experiment with new foods or spices without having to buy a lot and reduce your environmental footprint at the same time.
